🎯 Rule #1: Leave Expectations at the Door
Listen, we all start somewhere, and the starting line is different for everyone. Here's why ditching preconceived ideas is crucial:
1️⃣ New Language: The first 10-15 days, what the coach says may feel like gibberish. You're learning a new 'fitness language,' so to speak.
2️⃣ Don't Self-Sabotage: No recent experience with our training? Your expectations will be arbitrary and likely won't help you.
3️⃣ Embrace the Suck: To excel at something new, you've got to be okay with sucking at it initially. It's the only way to grow.
4️⃣ Don't Compare: Every person in the class is on a unique journey. Comparisons won't do you any good.
5️⃣ First 30 days, Take It Easy: Your only goal is to show up. Even if you do half-reps, that's a win.
🏆 Rule #2: Show Up. 30 Days. No Excuses.
This one's simple but not easy. Here's the breakdown:
1️⃣ Be Present: Unless you're bedridden or actually sick, you show up. Tired? Sore? Doesn't matter. Show up.
2️⃣ Baby Steps: Just like a toddler learning to walk—fall, get up, repeat.
3️⃣ Consistency Is Magic: We've got a quote on the wall at Grit in huge bold letters so you never forget this one... "DISCIPLINE EQUALS FREEDOM." Every goal you have resides on the other side of discipline.
Commit to these rules for just one month and the hardest part of your journey will be behind you. Keep up this routine and you'll see a total transformation that changes your life within 3 to 6 months. Let's do this. 💪
